For sale is a stunning and elegant mid-century/Eames era modern lucite and brass pedestal/stand - great for displaying an art object or a plant. The brass base is very heavy and well-made - the top is made of lucite over an inch thick. The cross bars are decorated with a brass finial, and the legs have brass feet in the form of an animal hoof. As you can see from the photos, the brass has a natural distressed look from age, and there are several areas where a green patina has formed. Consistant with age, there are some small scratchs on the surface of the lucite. The stand measures 38" high and 12" square.
